At our 130-bed, free-standing behavioral health hospital, we are able to offer care to adults and seniors who grapple with a number of mental health conditions, including the following:
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Suicidal ideations
- Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Self-harm
- Aggression
- Substance abuse (including dependencies on substances such as alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, prescription painkillers, and prescription medications)
Here at Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry, patients can not only receive treatment that will help them overcome these challenges, but they can also receive the support they need to continue to move forward with building happy, healthy lives for themselves.

With the knowledge that each patient who is entrusted into our care has his or her own specific needs and strengths, we are devoted to ensuring that all patients’ care plans are fully tailored to meet their needs so that they can obtain the most effective treatment possible.
In order to decide what kind of treatment should be provided, all individuals will be supplied with a detailed evaluation to help pinpoint the specific concerns that they are experiencing. At the time of this evaluation, the patient will also be provided with more information regarding which level of care will be most appropriate for ensuring that he or she meets his or her treatment goals.
